| Why do you have to have a direct experience with a vendor to see what's going on? Guess what, I've bought a part from Z1 (one silly time) but that means nothing nor should it. Why is this so hard for you to understand? The good shops/vendors here: A) Don't bash their paying customers publicly after disagreements with engine jobs (Z1 has) B) Don't lie about their product line and who developed the parts (Z1 has) C) Don't have employees, current or past, that have vandalized or pissed in customer cars (Z1 has) D) Step up to their mistakes right away, because EVERY company makes them (Z1 only does after they've been chastized, IF at all) E) Don't have horror stories about engine builds pop up once per month on various car forums like TT.net, My350z.com, 350ZForum.com and 300ZXClub.com (Z1 has and still does) Now, are you going to sit there and tell me that I should feel completely safe about dropping $20k on a motor build with them? Do I have to lose thousands of dollars or perhaps nights of sleep worrying about it BEFORE I can know the score? If you'd like bookmarks to each of the above events (they are all recorded), I'll take my time to find them but rest assured nearly EVERYONE that's been here over a year knows about them. In fact, you've been here and read those posts and you STILL turn a blind eye to it. I guess some people will never, ever listen to reason until they get burned. You may dodge a bullet, but why risk it?
If you think defending quality shops and site sponsors with proven records makes him a whore, then you are the ones with the problem. Stop being bitches. - October 21, 2003 at 06:16 PM
